Cultural Exchange, Social Media & Community Help – Bangladesh 🇧


The experience

cultural exchange experience where volunteers can help with simple social media updates, photography, community work, and general household or kitchen assistance.
You may also join me in guiding travelers, organizing small walking tours, and helping visitors understand our culture. Volunteers will explore Cox's Bazar world most longest & largest natural Unbroken sea beach, Saint Martin Island, Kutubdia, Sonadia islaand the Chittagong Hill Tracts.


What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Bangladesh

Program Details

This volunteer experience focuses on immersive cultural exchange and shared adventures around Cox’s Bazar. You will join me in helping introduce travelers to daily coastal life, local traditions, and the hidden beauty of Bangladesh.

Your role is centered on connection, assisting with small tasks during tours, sharing conversations with travelers, and helping them through simple photos or messages.

You will also join village visits, learning directly from the community and helping travelers feel welcome and informed.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers join a mix of meaningful and adventurous activities connected to:

Authentic local experiences — visiting villages, markets, and coastal areas
Cultural exchange — sharing stories, helping travelers understand traditions
Adventure outings — beaches, hills, islands, and hidden natural spots
Social impact — connecting with communities and supporting local initiatives
Sustainability — encouraging responsible travel and eco-friendly practices

You’ll contribute around 15 hours per week, with 2 days off to relax, explore Cox’s Bazar, enjoy the ocean, or plan your own trips.

Schedules are flexible and depend on tours, weather, and traveler interests.
