The experience

We (Anastasia, Jeymisson & Café) are the new guardians of 17 hectares of land in Bahia. After decades without care, we’re restoring the land and building the basic infrastructure for a future community — all 100% roots, hands-on and connected to nature.
Perfect for volunteers who want to reconnect with the earth and be part of something real 🌎💚
We need as many hads as we can get, there is always work to do. Now we are doing phase 1 - Clean up!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: R$ 30 Per day

Description: Contribution for food and maintanance for the volunteer individually to inshure high service level for all. The contribution is only for the first week.

What you get

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Requirements

Fluent Portuguese or Fluent English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

you help with whatever project is top priority or what is to your interest. there are many fields that need attention. Anything from cleaning up plastic waste from the land (left there for years), cleaning up areas from overgrown plans, cleaning the fruit trees from parasite plants, creating new garden beds, creating compost piles, making paths and making the place look pretty etc.

Rules

the space is free of commecial sigarets, alcohol, chemical drugs and commercially produced animal products. source local as much as possible, upcycle and recycle!
