Come and help us with gardening and painting in New Zealand

The experience

Join us on our gorgeous property to help with a mix of jobs - weed release native trees, line trimming and property maintenance, some touch up painting, Airbnb cleaning … You’ll have your own lovely caravan and kitchen/ bathroom with stunning views. We give you $ for all meals and hope to host you for a weekly meal as well!

You will need your own transport as the property is rural and not accessible to supermarkets or adventures without!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We expect 20 hours a week per person but we are flexible regarding how you do it. Some prefer to do this over three or four days and have more days off to enjoy the region.
Feel free to use the pool, sauna and spa, upon arrangement, between Airbnb guests.

Activities & Shift

The jobs will vary depending on weather and when you are here - mainly helping with looking after our native plantings by weed releasing, some line trimming and weeding and then helping with the Airbnb - some cleaning, maintenance painting etc

Rules

Please leave caravan and kitchen as clean as you found it and drop sheets / towels to laundry.
