Program Details

Hi everyone,

We’re Leo (French) and Laura (Italian), a couple young (29 & 33 years old) living in a sunny, peaceful home nestled in the countryside near Rome, with breathtaking views of Lago di Nemi in Italy. After years working in humanitarian missions across the globe—from Canada to South Sudan—we’ve returned to Europe to build something meaningful close to our families and nature.

We’ve recently founded Luce Sul Lago, a non-profit association dedicated to hosting people from all walks of life for immersive experiences in nature. Our vision is to create a space where guests can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover clarity and joy through introspection, community, and the healing power of the outdoors.

🛠️ What We’re Building (and Who We’re Looking For)
To bring this vision to life, we’re expanding our hosting capacity and need help with several hands-on projects:

Constructing wooden structures in the garden for future guests

Assembling an outdoor shower, kitchen, and compost toilet

Creating a yoga deck overlooking the lake

We’ve previously hosted Workawayers for gardening and light maintenance, but this phase requires technical skills in carpentry work. If you have experience in construction or renovation, we’d love to hear from you.
