The experience

We are located in the foothills of Mount Taita Imbabura (Ecuador), and invite you to live a meaningful experience that blends Kichwa culture, nature, and sustainability.

Your Main Tasks: 🌾
Support the organic garden through planting, composting, and harvesting seasonal crops. Assist in eco-construction and light maintenance of cabins, trails, and common spaces. Collaborate in cultural workshops and ancestral ritual. ☀️


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Over 18 years old

Program Details

As a volunteer, you’ll become part of our family and contribute to the growth of a living, breathing model of sustainable tourism and agriculture. You’ll collaborate side by side with local families, learn from ancestral practices, and help create bridges between tradition and modern sustainability.

Help with social media and photography to promote intercultural tourism and sustainability.

Participate in guest assistance, interpretation, and guided activities when visitors arrive.


Rules

We welcome volunteers who are open-minded, responsible, and passionate about sustainability, culture, and teamwork. No specific experience is required—just enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Basic Spanish is helpful, but not mandatory.
