Program Details
Our volunteer program offers an immersive farm-to-table experience in rural Tamil Nadu. You’ll stay right within our eco-farm, surrounded by trees, crops, and open skies. In exchange for your creative work — documenting our kitchen, farm life, and helping us manage Instagram and YouTube — we provide comfortable tent accommodation and all home-cooked meals made fresh from our farm produce.
You’ll join our small team that runs a kitchen, where everything is prepared from scratch using local ingredients. The activities involves capturing videos, photos 📸, and stories of everyday life 📝 — from harvesting vegetables to cooking traditional South Indian meals — and sharing them online to grow our community.
We usually expect 4–5 hours of contribution per day, 5 days a week. The rest of your time is yours — explore the farm, walk through nearby villages, or simply slow down and enjoy nature. You’ll get a chance to learn about sustainable farming, traditional cooking, and rural living, while practicing your creative storytelling skills in a meaningful setting.
This exchange is ideal for someone who values simplicity, authenticity, and creativity over luxury. It’s peaceful, raw, and real — the perfect space to reconnect with nature and tell stories that matter.
Activities & Shift
Each day at our farm kitchen follows a natural rhythm — simple, hands-on, and full of small joys. You’ll join us in foraging for fresh produce like papaya, tapioca, and greens from nearby farms and our own garden. What we find inspires the day’s menu. Together, we’ll bring the harvest to the kitchen, cook wholesome meals, and serve them to guests staying at the farm.
Volunteers also help with basic kitchen garden care — watering plants, composting, and harvesting herbs or vegetables. The heart of the experience is connection: sharing food and meaningful conversations with our guests, team, and the land itself.
We typically follow a 4-shift rhythm per day, spread across early morning, midday, evening prep, and dinner time. Tasks flow with the day — from gathering ingredients to serving and capturing stories for our online community. The pace is unhurried, guided by nature, and full of opportunities to learn, create, and connect.
