The experience

Join us in Morogoro to share your knowledge and creativity! 💡 We welcome volunteers who can teach English, organize sports for kids🏐, and support women’s empowerment through collaborative projects such as sewing, chicken keeping, and other valuable skills 🪡. Together, we aim to inspire confidence and create sustainable change in our community.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our volunteer program focuses on education and empowerment. You’ll help local children improve their English and communication skills, lead sports or creative games, and collaborate with women’s groups to develop income-generating activities such as sewing, chicken keeping, and other valuable skills. 💪
We believe in learning through connection — you’ll share your talents while experiencing Tanzanian culture, language, and daily life in a warm and welcoming environment.


Activities & Shift

Volunteering hours are 18 per week, spread over 5 days, giving you 2 days off to explore Morogoro’s nature and culture.

Typical activities include:
Teaching English 📚
Organizing sports and creative activities for kids
Supporting women’s empowerment workshops
Sharing ideas for new community projects
