Rules

About surf classes

4.1 Up Rise Surf School volunteers may take surf lessons with the school free of charge, provided there is space and surf coaches are available. The lesson includes a wetsuit, board, leash, and identifying lycra.
If desired, they may use their own equipment, as it may not be suitable for their needs.
4.2 If you don't want to use Uprise equipment, you can join the class with your own equipment, provided the client base allows. If the client base doesn't allow the Coach to support the volunteer, the volunteer may decide to join the class without the instructor's support. Please note that in this case, you must have a surfing level that allows you to surf alone, without the Coach's support, at your own risk, as you are not covered by the school's insurance.
4.3 If you'd like to join, you should express your interest in advance (by 1 p.m. the day before) and indicate whether you want to use the Coach or simply participate in the lesson (free of charge).
Please note that depending on the number of clients, the group's surfing level, the number of Coaches available, sea conditions, and the number of seats in the vans, the lesson may be canceled up until you're ready to hit the water.
4.4 Up Rise Surf School volunteers are covered by Sports Accident Insurance, which can be cancelled in the event of suspension and/or termination of duties, or if the agreed tasks are not fulfilled during the current period.

About surf equipment rental
5.1 Up Rise volunteers are welcome to use the school's surf equipment free of charge, as long as it is not needed for lessons.
5.2 Volunteers are responsible for properly maintaining their surfing equipment (washing, drying, and storing it) in designated locations at the school. If any damage to the equipment is found.
