The experience

Hello! I am delighted to welcome you and will do everything possible to make you feel at home and ensure you have a wonderful stay with me. In return, and this is the aim of the Worldpackers exchange, I ask that you be personally committed.

You will be required to assist me with household chores and daily tasks. These activities consist of helping me with general house maintenance, pool and garden maintenance, and small DIY repairs.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner French

Between 18 and 68 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You will be required to assist me with household chores and daily tasks. These activities consist of helping me with general housekeeping, pool and garden maintenance, and minor DIY repairs.

Activities & Shift

7.45am. *Breakfast assistance*
If you wish, you can help me with breakfast (enjoyable time with guests and me).

10am. / 12pm. *Garden and house maintenance*
Weeding, pruning a few plants, sweeping the courtyard. Checking the condition of the swimming pool. Mowing the lawn.
Small repairs if necessary.

12pm/5pm: As far as possible, time spent on sightseeing and visits.

5pm. / 7pm. : *Welcoming guests* Not every day or free time.

8pm. / 10 pm. : *Dinner at the table d'hôtes.* Not every day.
Help with serving and participate in the meal, clear the table and help tidy the kitchen, or free time in the evening when there is no table d'hôtes.

Rules

I'm looking for a proactive person interested in life in and around the house. I don't want people cooped up in their rooms waiting for something to do!

I'm non-vegetarian and serve alcohol, meat, pork, bread, eggs and milk at the table.
