What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
1 day off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Surf lessons:
Take free surf classes at the local beaches.
Dance classes:
Take free dance classes at our place.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
Our volunteer program offers opportunities for individuals to make a positive impact in the lives of children and communities in Uganda. As a volunteer in social work, teaching languages, or sports, you will work closely with our experienced staff and local partners to support the development and well-being of our beneficiaries.
*Social Work Volunteer*
As a social work volunteer, you will assist our team with:
1. Community outreach and engagement
2. Case management and support for vulnerable children and families
3. Group facilitation and workshops on topics such as HIV/AIDS, life skills, and child protection
4. Home visits and support for families in need
5. Data collection and reporting
*Teaching Languages Volunteer*
As a language teaching volunteer, you will:
1. Teach English, French, or other languages to children and adults
2. Develop lesson plans and materials
3. Support language exchange programs and cultural activities
4. Assist with language assessments and evaluations
5. Collaborate with local teachers to enhance language instruction
*Sports Volunteer*
As a sports volunteer, you will:
1. Coach and mentor sports teams (football, netball, basketball, etc.)
2. Develop training plans and lead sports activities
3. Support sports tournaments and events
4. Promote sports development and healthy lifestyles
5. Collaborate with local coaches and sports organizations
*Requirements and Support*
1. Volunteers must be 18+ years old and have a passion for social work, languages, or sports.
2. Relevant education or experience is beneficial but not required.
3. Background checks and references are required.
4. Volunteers receive orientation, training, and ongoing support from our experienced staff.
Activities & Shift
*Social Work Volunteer (Daily Activities)*
- 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Morning meeting with the social work team to discuss daily plans and challenges
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Community outreach and home visits to support vulnerable children and families
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break
- 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Case management and data entry
- 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Group facilitation or workshops on topics such as HIV/AIDS, life skills, and child protection
*Shift Options (Social Work):*
- Morning shift: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Afternoon shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Full-day shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with breaks)

Rules
*Confidentiality and Privacy*
- All volunteers are required to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect the privacy and dignity of our beneficiaries.
- Volunteers are not allowed to share any information or photos of beneficiaries on social media or with anyone outside the organization without explicit permission from the program coordinator.
*Safety and Security*
- Volunteers must arrive on time and sign in and out with the program coordinator or designated staff member.
- Volunteers are required to wear identification badges and follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Volunteers are not allowed to travel alone in the evenings or at night without permission from the program coordinator.
*Cultural Sensitivity*
- Volunteers are expected to respect and adhere to local customs and traditions.
- Volunteers should dress modestly and avoid behavior that may be considered offensive or insensitive.
*Communication*
- Volunteers are expected to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, beneficiaries, and other volunteers.
- Volunteers are required to report any concerns or incidents to the program coordinator or designated staff member immediately.
*Boundaries*
- Volunteers are not allowed to give gifts or money to beneficiaries without permission from the program coordinator.
- Volunteers are not allowed to take beneficiaries off-site without explicit permission from the program coordinator and the beneficiary's guardian (if applicable).
*Health and Hygiene*
- Volunteers are required to maintain good personal hygiene and follow all health and safety protocols.
- Volunteers are not allowed to work if they are sick or have a contagious illness.
