The experience

You have to design, manage and enhance the digital presence of four connected local businesses in the Sacred Valley:
1. Vértigo Valle Sagrado (climbing gym)
2. Santu (tour operator)
3. Vértigo Climbing Hostel (hostel)
4. Sukha (restaurant)
The volunteer will create creative and consistent digital content that represents the identity of each brand, helping to attract visitors, strengthen community engagement, and increase online visibility.


What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Program Details

This position offers the opportunity to gain real experience in tourism, hospitality, and adventure-sport marketing while living and working in Urubamba, Peru.

Main Activities:
• Plan and execute digital marketing strategies for each business.
• Create visual and written content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Design and schedule weekly content calendars.
• Capture and edit photos and videos of the spaces, products, and activities.
• Schedule posts and respond to comments or messages.
• Monitor analytics, reach, and engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with the team on promotions, events, and campaigns.


Activities & Shift

Weekly Content Goals (per business):
• 3 stories
• 1 feed post
• 1 reel/video

Weekly Schedule:
The position is 4 days per week, 5 hours per day, dedicated as follows:
• Tuesday: Vértigo Valle Sagrado (Climbing Gym)
• Wednesday: Santu (Tour Operator)
• Thursday: Vértigo Climbing Hostel
• Friday: Sukha (Restaurant)

Each workday focuses on creating and scheduling all content for one business for the entire week.

Before starting, the volunteer will prepare a marketing calendar to outline the types of content and themes to be developed for each business.


Rules

1. Maintain a professional and positive attitude with staff, clients, and other volunteers.
2. Follow brand guidelines and the visual identity of each business.
3. Always request approval before publishing official content.
4. Keep shared work areas clean and organized.
5. Handle cameras, computers, and other digital equipment responsibly.
6. Be punctual and consistent with the weekly posting schedule.
7. Turn off lights and equipment when not in use to save energy.
8. Communicate ideas proactively and collaborate with the team.
9. Show creativity, initiative, and responsibility in all assigned tasks.
10. Plan and organize your weekly content efficiently within the scheduled working hours.
