The experience

As an Eco Building and Maintenance Volunteer, you'll contribute to the construction, maintenance, and upkeep of our eco-friendly facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with eco-friendly building projects, such as constructing greenhouses, rainwater harvesting systems, and sustainable housing
Maintaining existing facilities, including gardens, playgrounds, and community spaces
Implementing sustainable practices,

What you offer

4 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Program Details

As an Eco Building and Maintenance Volunteer, you'll work alongside our team to construct, maintain, and upkeep eco-friendly facilities that support the well-being and development of children in our community.
Our goal is to create sustainable spaces that not only provide a safe and healthy environment but also promote environmental awareness and education.

*Key Activities*

1. Eco-Friendly Building Projects: You'll assist with building projects such as constructing greenhouses, rainwater harvesting systems, and sustainable housing using locally sourced, eco-friendly materials.
2. Facility Maintenance: You'll help maintain existing facilities, including gardens, playgrounds, and community spaces, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and functional.
3. Sustainable Practices: You'll implement sustainable practices such as recycling, composting, and energy-efficient systems to minimize the project's environmental footprint.
4. Community Engagement: You'll collaborate with local communities to promote eco-friendly practices and environmental awareness, engaging children and adults in sustainability initiatives.
5. Environmental Education: You'll help develop and implement environmental education programs for children, teaching them about sustainable living, conservation, and environmental stewardship.

Training and Support

1. Orientation: You'll receive a comprehensive orientation on our eco-friendly building practices, project goals, and expectations.
2. On-the-Job Training: You'll work alongside experienced team members who will provide guidance and training on specific tasks and projects.
3.Workshops and Sessions: We'll organize workshops and sessions on topics such as sustainable building, permaculture, and environmental conservation.
