The experience

We’re looking for a volunteer with bar or mixology experience to help us create and serve drinks during our weekend nights at Cundeamor — a creative restaurant and art space in Vieques. Tasks include preparing cocktails, maintaining the bar area, and supporting events.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Description: It covers food and lodging.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

Cundeamor is a creative restaurant and art space surrounded by lush nature in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
We’re looking for a bartender or mixology enthusiast to join our team on weekend nights and help bring the bar experience to life with creativity and good energy.

Main tasks include:
• Preparing cocktails and mocktails during dinner service or events.
• Keeping the bar area organized, clean, and stocked.
• Supporting the restaurant team when needed (serving, cleaning, resetting).
• Helping create seasonal or themed drinks for special events.
• Contributing ideas to improve presentation and customer experience.

Mainly on weekends evenings, with flexibility for special events.

Rules

Volunteers stay in a shared house with other participants. Everyone must help keep the shared areas tidy and respectful.

This position requires responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism. You’ll be part of a real restaurant environment where teamwork and cleanliness are essential.

Expectations:
• Arrive on time and ready for your shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area before, during, and after service.
• Follow basic hygiene and safety rules when handling drinks and glassware.
• Alcohol consumption during shifts is not allowed.
• Treat guests and team members with respect and kindness.
• Be proactive: restock, clean surfaces, and anticipate needs during service.
• Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm.
• Volunteers may be asked to help with other light tasks related to events or restaurant setup.

What you can expect:
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team in a creative restaurant and art space surrounded by nature. You’ll learn about tropical ingredients, hospitality, and event service while enjoying the relaxed island lifestyle of Vieques.
