The experience

Live the authentic Costa Rican experience by staying in a peaceful house surrounded by nature, just minutes away from the best beaches of Guanacaste.

We’re looking for responsible volunteers to help with basic house chores, cleaning, and caring for our lovely pets 🐾 while enjoying a private room with its own shower.

In return, you’ll enjoy a calm environment, connection with local life, and easy access to the beautiful Pacific coast.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: La contribución de 20 usd por día ayuda a cubrir los costos de mantenimiento en buenas condiciones. Incluye habitación privada con baño, agua, luz, internet y lavandería para que los voluntarios puedan disfrutar de una estadía cómoda durante su experiencia.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

We’re happy to share our home in Guanacaste, Costa Rica with volunteers who love nature, animals, and a peaceful lifestyle near the country’s best beaches.

Your help keeps our home clean, organized, and harmonious while caring for our lovely pets 🐾 and experiencing the real Pura Vida on the Pacific coast.

We offer a private room with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, access to shared spaces, and easy access to beautiful beaches.

The 20 USD daily contribution helps cover utilities and maintenance costs

Activities & Shift

Keep common areas tidy (living room, kitchen, terrace and bathroom).

Help with laundry and bed changes.

Feed and care for our pets 🐱🐾.

No previous experience required — just a positive attitude, respect, and love for animals

Schedule and days off
4 hours per day

3 days off per week, to be arranged together depending on plans and needs.

Typical shifts: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., leaving your afternoons free to explore and relax.

Rules

Keep your room and shared spaces clean.

Respect quiet hours and the home’s calm environment.

No smoking inside 🚭

No parties or unapproved guests.

Treat our pets with love and care 💕
