The experience

¡Hola! We’re two French travelers running a small, friendly hostel near Flores. Our place also includes a restaurant and a small tour operation. Once a week, we organize a community clean-up with local kids — collecting trash, sharing cake, and teaching a bit of French or English. 🧁 This activity is free for them and brings lots of smiles! We’re just a short walk from the beach and the peaceful lakeside. 🌅

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Program Details

Volunteers will join a welcoming space where every day is different — from helping with creative projects around the hostel to supporting our community clean-up initiative. It’s a great opportunity to meet locals, practice languages, and experience authentic Guatemalan culture in a relaxed and positive environment.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help with:

💚 Community Project — help with our weekly activity for local children
20 hours per week, 2 days off
