The 3 weeks I spent at the hostel were amazing, the staff were always friendly, caring and super chilled out. My tasks as a Barman were really easy and enjoyable plus I got the chance to make a lot of new friends and to go out almost every night with them. Since this was my first trip as a Worldpacker I wanted to visit another parts of Brazil apart of Rio de Janeiro and unfortunately I had to leave 3 days before I was supposed to. You get to save a lot of money at the clubs just by being part of the staff of the hostel. Also the staff of BEM Brasil is completely made up of legends! I loved it!

I had a lovely although short stay in the hostel. The whole team is really friendly and welcoming which made me feel like home from the minute I entered the hostel! Bar work is fun and entertaining - I really enjoyed it! Not to mention happy hour of free caipirinhas - this made my overall experience even better! Moreover, it's a perfect place to stay if you're looking for great parties as you are given a vip entrance to most of them for being a the hostel staff member. The only thing I regret is not staying for longer. Thank you the hostel! You all were amazing hosts :*

It's been a great experience! I've learnt too much about volunteering. It was very flexible with the timetables and I met some prople that today are very good friends. I'll do it again. It's a shame it is ending!!!

Curti bastante o the hostel! O clima é super leve, o pessoal é animado e receptivo, e o hostel tem uma energia ótima pra quem viaja sozinho ou quer conhecer gente. As áreas comuns são bem agradáveis e sempre tem alguma coisa rolando. Recomendo demais!

A experiência de viver no hostel é realmente muito fod@, a atmosfera do hostel, a staff muito maneira, os hóspedes que tão no modo rj, todos compartilham e entram na mesma vibe de curtir e viver o momento! A parte difícil é ir embora kkkk foram dez meses de várias emoções, memórias e amizades que vão ficar guardadas no coração. Sobre as tarefas como voluntário de manutenção, agradeço demais ao Pedro, gerente que foi a todo momento compreensível com as demandas, passando tarefas tranquilas, aberto ao diálogo e flexível, garantindo que a experiência fosse positiva para nós dois!
