Help me turn abandoned house into Nature Retreat.

The experience

This place belongs to a friend and has been unused for a long time. With the help of volunteers, the goal is to bring new life to the house while creating a space for slow living, cultural exchange, creativity, and connection with nature. Volunteers will help with cleaning and organizing the house, basic repairs and maintenance, painting, gardening, simple DIY or construction tasks, and sharing creative ideas to make the space eco-friendly .

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: Volunteers contribute 5 USD to help me pay utilities.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This position is very flexible with no such rules as or limitations.
But would highly prefer someone who can up cycle used things as that will be very sustainable as well as budget friendly. If anyone is interested in paintings or sketching I would be very happy if they bring their own brushes and the items if possible and inform me in advance about the type of colour you need for it.

We are looking for volunteers who can adjust themselves in shared space as we will not be able to provide a private space for you.

Activities & Shift

About the shifts, it is very flexible; volunteers are free to work at any time they want.
I would love to teach volunteers about our culture, history, and language, and I would also love to hear about their experiences.
