The experience

Our volunteer program is focused on cultural exchange, hospitality and travel experience in the holy city of Varanasi, India. Volunteers become part of our small, family-run travel and hospitality team.
You’ll help with simple tasks such as welcoming guests, sharing travel ideas, assisting with daily coordination, or supporting small community and cultural projects.
In return, you’ll learn about Indian traditions, food, festivals, and local life


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 21 and 52 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

You’ll help with simple tasks such as welcoming guests, sharing travel ideas, assisting with daily coordination, or supporting small community and cultural projects.
In return, you’ll learn about Indian traditions, food, festivals, and local life. We aim to create a warm and safe space where both volunteers and our team grow through friendship and learning.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers usually contributes 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with flexible timing depending on the activities.
Typical tasks may include:

Helping and teaching Spanish with travel information and local tips

Supporting with check-ins or small hospitality duties

Assisting with social media, photography, or cultural promotion

Participating in local tours or helping organize short community visits

Light help with cleaning or organizing spaces

Free time is given daily to explore Varanasi, visit ghats, temples, or join cultural events.


Rules

To ensure a respectful and enjoyable stay for everyone, we follow a few simple guidelines:

Be respectful, kind, and honest with everyone.

Keep the environment clean and organized.

No alcohol or drugs inside the accommodation area and reach at home at 10 pm

Follow local customs and dress modestly, as Varanasi is a spiritual city.

Inform the host in advance if you need a day off or want to travel nearby.

Treat everyone like family — we believe in friendship and teamwork.
