The experience

You become part of our community! General maintenance tasks would consist of helping with cleaning, cooking & taking care of the dogs.

For our projects, the tasks would consist of beach cleanup & removing rocks from the beach, maintaining the trail in the forest & carpentry (depending on availability of materials and ongoing projects).


What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 4 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Since we have limited resources, we ask for 200PHP / €3-4 to cover basic necessities such as shower water, drinking water, rice, cooking gas, and cooking oil so volunteers don’t have to buy and carry to the island as there is no public transportation to a private island at the moment.

Program Details

Our kitchen is for everyone. Before arriving we advise you to bring groceries as we don't offer food on the island. In the community spirit, we may bundle our supplies and cook all together. We have a fridge you may use to store produce. Fresh beverages are available on the island.


Activities & Shift

We don't work with shifts as it's mainly general maintenance. So your work will be spread out during the day or we may schedule together when to fill in the 3h of work when you work on a project.


Rules

You become part of our crew, so make sure your energy matches that. We expect initiative and helpfulness. Whenever we have paying guests on the island, it is important to acknowledge that you are still part of the working crew.
