I just got home after two weeks at this fantastic place. I found the volunteers' daily duties to be well organized, with clear instructions and routines. This is the best volunteer place I've been to out of a total of five projects. The atmosphere was very warm, relaxed, and welcoming. I felt comfortable and safe. The food was excellent and the people working on the project are incredibly friendly. I am very grateful for this experience. It was incredibly sad to leave the project and the dogs. I highly recommend this project and hope to be able to return sometime in the future!

Had the most amazing time at the organization. Melanie and the rest of the team were so welcoming it felt like a second home really quickly. The food was amazing and the hours were flexible - we even took the weekend off and stayed in Khon Kaen for a night. In terms of the work, the days can be hard work and you'll get sweaty and dirty but it's so so rewarding. The dogs have so much love to give and want all your love in return. You can often choose what you'd like to do (take photos and videos, walk the dogs or simply spend time cuddling with them). Fair warning, you will fall in love 🥰🥰

I loved the experience. I wish I could stay longer and get to know each dog more individually. really happy for the chance to see what its like to be a part of an organisation that really helps animals. inspiring and super cute too! they were really considerate about me being vegan and I always had something to eat. sometimes the thai cooker would make a plate separately just for me, which I really appreciated. hope to come back someday! recommend to anyone considering :)

I had an absolute amazing time volunteering at the organization. I was there for 3 weeks and in those weeks I absolutely fell in love with the dogs and cats there, I made life long friends, and I gained some of the best experiences of my life. Melanie, the manager at the foundation, absolutely puts her heart and soul into every aspect of it, she loves the animals and volunteers alike, she made my time there comfortable, and welcoming. It is hard work but there is also a lot of down time, I would highly recommend this experience to everyone, it is just perfect!!!

I had THE most amazing time at the organization. The community within the volunteers is so warm and welcoming. The days are structured which i really liked and on the weekends we did stuff like going to markets and around khon kaen which was organised but the volunteer coordinator. Everyone is super helpful and provided guidance if i had any questions. Everyone was so incredibly kind and lovely and all the dogs are so well looked after and really cared for and they have so much love to give you. It really is such a rewarding experience and I could not recommend it more to anyone!!!!!

I had the most amazing experience at the organization the organisation and animals they help are absolutely wonderful. I am most definitely considering coming back here to volunteer again. Be aware of becoming attached to the dogs as it does happen. SSF has a small dedicated team, who enhanced my time being there. I couldn't recommend this enough.

I spent two weeks volunteering at the organization, and it was an incredible experience. I thank everyone for their dedication. The staff were kind and welcoming, creating a warm environment for both volunteers and animals. I enjoyed caring for the dogs—giving them cuddles, going on walks, cleaning, and feeding them. We received excellent guidance on handling the dogs safely. The community among volunteers was supportive with great conversations. I highly recommend volunteering here to anyone interested in animal welfare or seeking a meaningful experience. Thank you again; I'll miss everyone!

The organization is a big inspiration. Even though I had some personal issues and had to leave earlier, I have nothing bad to say about the place or the program. I was so sad to leave, because I loved the experience with the dogs and cats. But Melanie was super nice and understanding with my situation. I had a great time while working and spending time with the animals. I'm so thankful for it. I want to come back and experience this again in the future for sure, and I definitely recommend to those who need or want some time with dogs and cats, who have so much love to share with us!

Where to start, the experience at the organization soul was perhaps the best ever. If you love animals, nature, relaxation and making new friends, this is the right place. Helping has always been a pleasure even on days off!! Gabriella and Melanie are fantastic, they manage to make you feel at home in theirs. I recommend the experience to anyone who wants to have their heart filled with so much joy❤️ Thanks again I miss you a lot, a kiss to my beautiful anong!!

I had the most amazing and special time here at the organization. I was planning to stay for only two weeks, but loved it so much that I extended my stay to two months! Your days will be full, but the work is very rewarding. You will work with the cutest dogs and cats and there will be plenty of time to get to know all of them. Moreover, you will work in a great team with the Thai staff and the other volunteers. I've had such special moments with the dogs and other volunteers, which I will never forget <3 The only warning I have: you will want to adopt every dog and cat you meet!!
