🍅 Farm help – Cherry Tomato Picking


The experience

Easy, light work harvesting cherry tomatoes in a calm and peaceful environment 🌞.
Enjoy fresh air, beautiful views, and the quiet charm of the Hokkaido countryside 🌾.

Accommodation is provided in a tiny house with a small kitchen, and a small van is available for getting around or exploring the stunning nature of Hokkaido 🚐🌲.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 22 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Activities & Shift

Helping hours depend on weather conditions and how ripe the tomatoes are ☀️🌧️.

🍅 Harvesting in the early morning
🌤️ Afternoons are free time for you to rest or explore
⏱️ Around 3–4 hours per day, 15–20 hours per week
🗓️ 2 days off per week


Rules

We’re looking for healthy, independent, and motivated outdoor people 💪 who can take care of themselves and enjoy simple country life.
🚫 No party people — this is a calm and respectful environment focused on nature and work.
