🎨 Help Create an Artistic DIY Coliving in Mexico City
The experience
We’re transforming an old apartment in Colonia Doctores into a creative DIY coliving for artists, entrepreneur travelers, and makers. Volunteers help with painting, light construction, decoration, and supporting the renovation, from contacting suppliers to organizing materials. A collaborative space to learn, create, and connect in the heart of Mexico City.
What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Arts:
Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Discounts on Accommodation:

Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Events:

Bikes at your disposal:

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
This program invites creative and entrepreneurial travelers to join the renovation of our coliving in Colonia Doctores, Mexico City — an authentic neighborhood near Roma and the Historic Center. You’ll help transform the place you will live into a sustainable and artistic home using recycled materials, local crafts, and DIY design. Learn about interior renovation, project management, and cultural exchange.
Activities & Shift
🧱 Light construction, painting, and decoration
🪚 Organizing tools and materials
📞 Contacting local suppliers and comparing quotes
🧼 Cleaning and maintaining common areas
📸 Optional: photography, social media, or helping host travelers
Work 4 a day, 5 days a week. 10 am - 2 pm. Weekends are free to explore markets, museums, and local culture 🌮
