The experience

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented volunteer who’s passionate about cleanliness and organization 🧹. The main tasks include cleaning kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, as well as helping with basic domestic duties. You may also occasionally assist with reception and night tasks 🌙.

The usual schedule is from 09:00 to 14:00.

What you offer

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 22 and 80 years old

Program Details

English is essential for communicating with guests, while Spanish is a plus for team interactions — and if you speak both, that’s the perfect match! 🇪🇸🇬🇧

This is a short-term rental company hosting international tourists and students through platforms like Airbnb and Booking. Most of our properties are located in Msida, with some in Sliema and Gzira.

This program offers the chance to live in a multicultural environment while helping keep our spaces clean, organized, and welcoming 🌍. You’ll support our team in daily operations and interact with travelers from all over the world.

Since the team mostly speaks Spanish and many guests communicate in English, volunteers who know both languages are highly appreciated — though speaking Spanish is not a requirement.

It’s a great opportunity to develop hospitality skills, meet new people, and experience Malta’s unique atmosphere ☀️.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help an average of 20 hours per week, spread over 5 days, including weekends. Schedules are organized one week in advance. You’ll have 2 days off per week, which may vary and are not always consecutive.

Main activities include:

-Cleaning and tidying kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and shared areas.
-Preparing beds and maintaining a cozy atmosphere for guests 🛏️.
-Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
-Supporting night tasks when needed 🌃.
-Occasionally helping with shopping, light maintenance, or plant care 🌿.

Rules

🏠 Volunteers stay in a shared room with other volunteers (single bed provided).
🚫 Guests or external visitors are not allowed to stay overnight or enter the volunteer room.
🤫 The volunteer area is inside a property that also hosts guests, so respecting their privacy and comfort is essential.
🕒 Volunteers are expected to respect the 20-hour weekly schedule and be flexible with shifts that include weekends.
