The experience

It's a wooden chalet, that we're restoring and it is our main home for now and near future. It relies on solar panel and spring source. We're tend to be self sustainable and autonomous. We have 4 hen and we enjoy their eggs. We do a lot of our own things, like preserves vegetable, lacto-fermentation, our own tomato sauce and ratatouille, our own compote and many other things.

Program Details

We generally like to work 4-5 hours in the morning with the woofers, everything depends on the weather and our requirements. We are, however, very flexible.
The job consists of helping us with all the renovation tasks in progress: finishing the bathroom, finishing the exterior cladding, finishing / improving the chicken shelter for the winter, it is very varied. You have 2 days off per week of course. We appreciate your contribution to our daily life (helping with the cooking, washing up, etc.) -

We like doing sport, hiking, swimming, running. We live in the nature so obviously we like observing it, our chalet is facing a great view. So it is very easy to rest...
We like good music, Jonas plays piano and I practice violin. We are non smokers and we prefer people who don't smoke. We're not heavy drinker but we appreciate a drink once in a while.
We don't have TV and we don't spend much time on our phone or on social network. We prefer discussion or board games. We listen to music a lot.

We'd like people who will be willing to share our life style and people who can be independent as well. We like cooking and eating together. What's making woofing interesting is the cultural exchange around it. We are not vegetarians, however we don't eat that much meat, so we're vegetarians friendly, not a problem. We like you to be involved and participate to the usual house cores. Helping us out with usual daily task is very important to us.

We live close to Le Corbier in a little wooden chalet, in the forest, accessible by walking (20 min) or by quad. It is at 1500m altitude.
Much easier if you have your own car to travel around but all good if you don't. The a lot of hike around. Le Corbier is accessible by a walk but be aware that all the shops are closed before the 20st of Dec.
