Purpose of the role:
To assist in daily operations, upkeep, and coordination of property-related tasks, ensuring smooth management and excellent guest satisfaction 🌿.

We’re looking for volunteers who are responsible, reliable, and proactive — people with a positive attitude who enjoy working in a team and helping keep things running efficiently 💪.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent Chinese

Between 20 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Our properties are located in Langkawi, Malaysia, where we manage guest rooms and F&B outlets 🍽️. We welcome around 10 volunteers to support our daily operations in a great environment and an awesome workplace by the sea 🌴.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality, learn new skills, and be part of a friendly international team while enjoying island life 🌞.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers usually help 5 hours per day, with 1 day off per week.

Main activities include:

-Housekeeping (public areas and rooms) 🧹
-Kitchen support, waiter/waitress duties 🍽️
-Maintenance, handyman, or general help 🔧

Schedules may vary depending on daily operations and team needs.

Rules

1️⃣ Attendance & punctuality: Volunteers must arrive on time.
2️⃣ Professional conduct: Be polite and maintain a positive attitude.
3️⃣ Dress code: Dress appropriately for your assigned tasks.
4️⃣ Property care: Treat all equipment, facilities, and materials with care.
5️⃣ No substances or misconduct: The use of alcohol, drugs, or smoking is strictly prohibited during volunteer hours 🚫.
6️⃣ Responsibility & teamwork: Be proactive, reliable, and willing to learn.
7️⃣ Termination of service: Management reserves the right to end a volunteer’s stay if these rules are violated or performance is unsatisfactory.
