The experience

We’re looking for 1–2 volunteers to help with small manual projects at our surf camp right on the beachfront in Lacanau-Océan, France 🌊 Tasks include painting, decoration, repairs, and outdoor improvements. In exchange: accommodation, surf gear, and free surf lessons 🏄‍♂️ Calm winter vibes — perfect to recharge by the ocean and enjoy simple, hands-on living!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

🌊 Help us make our Surf Camp even more beautiful — right by the ocean! 🛠️✨

We’re looking for one or two volunteers to join us at our surf camp located right on the beachfront in Lacanau-Océan, France.

Here, you’ll wake up to the sound of the waves and fall asleep with stunning ocean sunsets — the perfect setting for a peaceful, recharging stay.

Your main tasks:
- We’d love to welcome someone motivated and hands-on to help us with small improvement projects, depending on your skills and interests:
- Painting and decoration
- Repairs and small construction projects (fixing, building, improving, etc.)
- Outdoor improvements and organization
And more if you’re inspired — we’re always open to good ideas!

In exchange, you’ll enjoy:
- Accommodation at the surf camp
- Free use of surf equipment (board and wetsuit)
- The opportunity to join our surf lessons for free whenever they take place

It’s winter season in Lacanau, a quieter time of year — perfect for slowing down, breathing fresh ocean air, and reconnecting with nature.
