The experience

Come experience the magic of the Moroccan desert in Zagora! We’re looking for friendly and motivated volunteers to help with reception, cleaning, and daily tasks.

As a volunteer, you’ll meet travelers from around the world, enjoy traditional Moroccan meals, and have time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Zagora and the nearby Sahara Desert 🌵🌅.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: We kindly request a contribution of 10 euros to help cover the cost of meals for the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner French

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to give travelers a chance to live and work in the heart of the Moroccan desert. Located in Zagora, our lodge welcomes guests from all over the world 🌍.

Volunteers will assist with:

-Reception and guest support
-Cleaning rooms and common areas
-General maintenance of the lodge
-Assisting in the kitchen or during meals

In return, we offer:

-A private or shared room 🛏️
-Meals (traditional Moroccan dishes) 🍲
-Cultural exchange with our team and guests
-Time to explore the desert 🌄

Activities & Shift

As a volunteer, your daily tasks may include:

-Welcoming and assisting guests at reception 🏨
-Helping with cleaning rooms and common areas 🧹
-Assisting in the kitchen during meals 🍽️
-Supporting with basic maintenance or organizing the lodge
-Occasionally assisting with tours or answering guest questions

You’ll help around 5 hours per day, 6 days a week, with flexible shifts based on the lodge’s needs.

We also offer free time in the afternoons or evenings to explore or relax.
