Oiii! I stayed three weeks at Jackie's house. Tasks included organizing the storage, gardening, watering plants, cleaning the inside house and daily cleaning the home chicken house. Jackie is very respectful with schedules: we always had breaks and never worked more than agreed. Starting times could vary when there were guests in the house, but she always confirmed the schedule the night before. Meals were always a special moment: shared, full of cultural exchange, conversations, and even games. I hope to see them again someday—sending hugs to Salma, Jackie, and our little monkey, Chanel! ❤️

I enjoyed my stay with Jackie. She is a really nice person and was always trying to make sure that everything is ok. I was the only vegetarian while I was there and she really put in effort to make nice vegetarian meals for me. She always made sure that working hours were respected. You can always find some faults and problems if you are looking for them or if you like things in one certain way, however, if you are flexible and open minded like I tried to be, you will definitely enjoy your stay there. I always felt welcomed and liked the conversations with Jackie and with the other volunteers.

Jackie is an amazing person with a wonderful heart. She always cared about our well-being and interaction, making us practice English, drinking water and taking breaks from work to rest. She showed interest in us getting to know the neighboring villages. She is fun and a great mother to the volunteers.

Jackie is a wonderful and incredible person. Always very friendly and willing to help you with everything, she was without a doubt one the home best hosts I have ever met. I hope I have helped even in a short period. Regarding the working hours, she is always respected and the work is calm. Thank you for everything Jackie 😉☺️

The experience, accommodation and treatment was not as advertised. I felt disrespected by the host on a daily basis. The tasks were manageable, but we do not share the same standards of hygiene/cleaning, so the place was never proper. Other volunteers shared the same feeling. I'm always open to talk/estoy abierta a hablar sobre la experiencia.

It was my first experience as a volunteer. Mary welcomed me well and we had good conversations during meals. The little dog Chanel and the cats are very friendly and I get attached very quickly. The house is big and can be cold in winter, so I recommend bringing warm clothes. Salma and Ajs were super nice and made me feel good during my stay.

I totally loved my stay with Jackie! She is a lovely person, who is fun to be around. Even though it was a stressful time, she managed to make us really good food and always tried to do activities! Jackie always checks on you and wants you to feel good. There are various tasks to do, I loved the diversion in the work. I really recommend to see the waterfall, Souve and if you can Nimes. They are all beautfiul places, but Souve might be the easiest to get to. I will miss being there, with Chanel, Shorty (the two dogs) and of course Jackie. The time there was amazing!

I really had a good time with Jackie Marie, she is very funny and lovely, and makes sure you are feeling good. The place is ok, sometimes is a little messy so try to keep it clean and well organized. I learned a lot about construction with Ash, he is very kind and patient, and is really cool to exchange culture with him. The town is beautiful, I had fun just walking around the streets and watching old people play pétanque haha, you can also go to Sauve, which is a medieval town just 9km from the house and it is stunning to be there.

Jackie is the absolute best! She's always checking in on you, feeding you the best food, and is the best person to chat with. Work hours are respected and tasks always vary; many projects to do around the big house from cleaning to plastering walls. The area is small and quiet but there are beautiful neighboring towns, a public pool, and a fantastic walking trail viewing the hills and vineyards. You get a lot of free time, ending work before lunch time so I spent my days exploring, reading my book and spending time with the other volunteers and most importantly Shorty and Chanel - the dogs.

The host respected the indicated schedules. In addition, she is very friendly and helpful. She loves spending time with the volunteers and enjoys having good conversations with people who approach her. In my case, I was able to practice my English and I made a great friend because she tries to help you with any doubt or problem you encounter. Her house is located near beautiful towns and is ideal for visiting and doing different mountain routes or even, visiting medieval towns. Thank you very much for your patience, education, and kindness.
