The experience

We are looking for a self-motivated, outgoing person that loves to meet new people, bring guests together and help make fun videos for social media. Our hostel specializes in day tours to showcase the beauty of Northern Albania, but to create a fun/home away from home vibe within our hostel common spaces we need YOU to create/execute (with the help of the volunteer team) fun events like game nights, movie nights, family dinner, walking tours, etc

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent English

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

In exchange for organizing hostel social events like trivia nights, movie nights, family dinner, city tours, etc and helping our social media coordinator with content for these events, we provide a comfy bed in a team dorm, 3 meals a day, free laundry, free bikes and free tours!
WE ARE NOT A PARTY HOSTEL. We do not serve alcohol of host pub crawls, so all of these fun activities should not include ecessive drinking.

Rules

We ask that you start your shifts on time, keep workspace tidy, and treat the space and team with respect. A positive attitude and reliability are just as important as creativity!
