🎒 Volunteer Rennes – Join Our Hostel Family!

The experience

Hey travelers!
We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to join our team at our Hostel in Rennes, a lively student city in Brittany – just 1h from the coast! 🎶🍷
🛏️ What we offer: Shared mix dorm volunteer, family meals (only the working day)
🤹‍♀️ Tasks include: Housekeeping/ Cleaning, Helping with family dinners, running events & activities, social media, artistic tasks, gardening, guiding tour...

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 22 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

What you’ll do
As a volunteer, you'll help us out with a bit of everything, like:
Housekeeping & making beds
Helping with family dinners – cooking, sharing meal with guest, laughing
Assisting with events dance
Welcoming guests, giving them the guiding tour Rennes or organizing day trip
Helping develop cool activities (boarding games, beer pong, blindest)
Gardening or doing some light DIY stuff if you're into it
And if you’re artistic – painting, decorating, or making the space more beautiful!

Activities & Shift

Work 20 h/ per week, max 4 hours per day
At least 2 day off per week.
