What you offer

29 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 19 Per day

Fee pays for: Materials for volunteer activities and Donation to project

Description: We provide free, modest accommodation! To ensure your volunteering experience is comfortable and truly impactful, we kindly request a contribution of $19 per day. This fee goes directly towards, providing nutritious meals and essential materials at the center, allowing us to create a more enjoyable and productive environment for everyone involved! Think of it as fueling your good deeds and helping us maximize our impact!

What you get

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Butakoola Village Association for Development (BUVAD) needs YOU! Calling all passionate, skilled individuals to the stunning Butakoola Village, Uganda!

Dive into hands-on building, painting, and repair projects at our volunteer center. Unleash your inner architect, carpenter, or DIY master! Renovate and expand volunteer cubicles, creating a welcoming space for future volunteers. Help paint and improve our music training room, where Ugandan melodies will empower local musicians.

BUVAD offers free accommodation, immersing you in the local culture. A small contribution of $19 per day covers delicious meals and essential project materials. It's an investment in your journey and fuels our incredible work together! We can even pick you up from EBB airport if you are willing to raise fuel for the car at the office to make your arrival smooth as possible!
