The experience

We’re looking for outgoing, responsible, and social volunteers to join our bar team! As a Volunteer Bartender, you’ll help create unforgettable nights for our guests — serving drinks, keeping the vibe high, and making sure everyone’s having a good (and safe!) time.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 100 One time

Description: A deposit of $150 AUD needs to be paid upon arrival! That will be returned if all the rules are followed during your stay!

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Australia

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Open and run the bar each night 🍹

Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly (RSA required or willing to get it)

Handle cash and card payments

Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organised

Promote nightly events and create a fun atmosphere for guests

Close the bar and ensure all guests move quietly back to rooms after hours

Work closely with management to maintain a safe and respectful environment
