Volunteer Position – Building & Maintenance (Azores Co-Living)
The experience
We’re launching a new co-living/co-working house in Ribeira Grande, Azores!
Volunteers help with everything you are good in and comfortable with like building structures with cement, wood, metal, or stones, organizing the garden or general handyman skills. We offer free accommodation, co-working access & a vibrant international community. A few hours a day, 5 days/week. Min stay: 4 weeks. Join us in building something new!
What you offer
15 hours of help per week
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely
Requirements

Program Details
We are looking for motivated volunteers to join our brand-new co-living/co-working project in Ribeira Grande, Azores. The building is in its final construction phase, and we are building up a vibrant international community of remote workers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
Your tasks may include:
We are ourselves currently also still building a lot, and you can directly work together with us on tasks as:
- Handyman activities
- Renovation tasks like painting, flooring
- Creating furniture or other structures like living quarters, a SPA area, a BBQ area etc. with wood / cement / vulcanic stones
- Organizing and cleaning the big garden
In addition you should not be afraid of living in a community and be capable of tasks as:
- Welcoming guests and helping them feel at home.
- Light housekeeping and keeping shared spaces tidy.
- Supporting community activities together with other volunteers/managers (e.g. dinners, events, workshops).
