The experience

If you’d like to join us, you should be open to new experiences and, above all, enjoy living and working with animals. 🐕🐄
Depending on your skills and previous experience, you can either get straight to help or take the opportunity to learn many new things!

We also appreciate your help with general farm maintenance — this includes activities such as stable work, repairing fences, cleaning and painting stable walls, sweeping the yard, etc

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent German

Over 22 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Every day brings something different, and there’s always a chance to learn by doing. 🌿

We welcome volunteers who are kind, reliable, and love spending time with animals. As our dogs live with us in our home, you should have experience with dogs — or at least feel comfortable around them.

Depending on your interests, you can get involved in farm chores, gardening, or small repair and improvement projects. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy nature, learn practical skills, and experience authentic farm life in northern Germany. 🇩🇪🌻

Activities & Shift

Your help may include:

Stable work and feeding animals 🐎
Repairing fences and maintaining farm structures 🔧
Cleaning and painting the stables 🎨
Gardening and caring for plants 🌱
Light manual tasks around the property

Schedule: 25 hours per week
Days off: 2 days to relax or explore the area
