Program Details

We’ve had wonderful volunteers who’ve helped us with many things around the property. We love having people stay who are self-motivated, can use their initiative and creativity to problem-solve, and communicate well

You are fondly remembered by us when we look back on the projects you’ve been instrumental in shaping 🌻

There are opportunities for you to learn about permaculture, gardening, natural medicine, fermentation, and somatic psychotherapy for trauma healing. You can also explore the eco-community and join various events and experiences 🌎🌿

Activities & Shift

Looking after the goats, gardening, harvesting, DIY building and maintenance, brush-cutting, and cooking are part of the usual activities on the land for short-term stays.

For longer-term stays, we appreciate extra skills that can be applied to other projects such as concreting, building, carpentry, landscaping, and interior design 🔨🌱

⏰ 5 hours per day, 5 days per week
🌻 2 days off

Rules

We love the quiet, clean, healthy, and natural vibe here and would love to share it with travellers who appreciate the same 💚
It’s important to us that you don’t smoke, drink, or use drugs.

We enjoy sharing the abundant organic food we grow and buy, especially with guests who are foodies and value organic, wholesome, healthy meals 🥗 Shared meals are a wonderful time to connect and share experiences outside of work hours.

🍽️ Food is included, except if you have very specific dietary needs or unique foods/snacks. Most meals are gluten-free and vegan, though some include eggs or cheese — which can usually be substituted if needed.

✨ Your creative ideas, input, and initiative are always welcome!
✨ Self-responsibility is also important — if you break or damage something through neglect, please take steps to replace or repair it.

Transportation note:
There is no public transport to our place.
If you do not have your own car, please let us know when you first contact us so we can arrange pickup at the Conondale General Store (10 minutes away).

You’ll need to catch a train to Landsborough, then a bus to Maleny, and book a few days in advance a Flexilink taxi from Maleny to the Conondale General Store (operates twice per day, Monday to Saturday).

Please message us at least 3 days before your arrival with your pickup time.
We can’t accommodate last-minute pickup requests.
