Join Scholars & Roots Ghana in empowering education and culture!
We’re looking for creative volunteers to help improve our website, write engaging stories, and boost our online visibility. Your skills in SEO, social media, or web design will help us reach more people and share our community impact across Ghana and beyond.


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Web Developer: Help develop and maintain websites.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Between 18 and 69 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

At Scholars & Roots Ghana, we believe in education, community, and culture. Our team is seeking volunteers skilled in web design, SEO, and digital storytelling to help us enhance our online presence.
Volunteers will work closely with our directors to:
Optimize our website for search engines.
Write or edit stories about our community programs.
Improve how we present our NGO online to attract donors and global partners.
This role is perfect for those passionate about digital impact and community growth.
🕓 Activities & Shifts
Create and update website content (blogs, program pages, news)
Analyze and improve SEO (keywords, meta tags, backlinks)
Suggest strategies to grow online visibility
4–5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Weekends are free for exploring Ghana’s culture
