The experience

Stay in the heart of Thessaloniki and dive into Greece’s vibrant student and nightlife scene! I organize parties for university students and work as a tour guide. I’m looking for a friendly, proactive volunteer to help with cleaning, shopping, preparing party spaces, and assisting during tours — especially by helping participants feel comfortable and sharing feedback. It’s a fun way to connect, learn, and experience Greek culture! 🎉

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Fluent Greek or Intermediate English

Between 20 and 30 years old

Program Details

As a volunteer, you’ll be actively involved in daily activities that help keep our apartment and party space organized, while also supporting tours and events.

You’ll help prepare meals by planning menus, shopping for ingredients, and cooking. You’ll also assist with cleaning and organizing the apartment, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas, and ensure the party space is tidy and ready for events.

Beyond chores, you’ll participate in event support, helping guests feel welcome, assisting with tours, and creating a lively, friendly atmosphere. This is a hands-on role that combines hospitality, cultural exchange, and teamwork, giving you a unique insight into local life while developing practical skills.

Activities & Shift

You’ll volunteer 4 hours per day with 2 days off per week.
The food should be ready around 16:00, and the party area cleaned by 20:00.

🧹 Cleaning: keep the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas tidy
🛏️ Housekeeping: change bed linens and help maintain a cozy space
🍳 Cooking: choose menus, shop for ingredients, and prepare delicious meals
🎊 Event Support: help organize and prepare for student parties and assist during city tours

Please respect quiet hours between 16:00 and 17:00 — that’s siesta time!
