The experience


Our family contains mother, father, three childrens, born in - 05, - 06 and - 17. Our older doughter have already moved out for study but she is home sometimes during the weekends. Our son is living home and working whit us. Our yangest doughter is in school during the days.

We have an old farmhouse at countryside with lot of pets (three dogs, a cat,a hamster, a pony and some chickens and roosters)

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent Finnish or Fluent English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We need help for homecare (cleaning, cooking), pet care and some gardening. We expect a self-imposed person who gets in to tasks without us having to explain them repeatedly.
Every day is different and it's never boring! You get to meet lot of people and see different kind of homes and ways to live.

Activities & Shift

We live at countryside so pure nature is very close to you. There is no neighbours so it's really peaceful. Our nearest neighbour is about 1km away. We invite the workawayer to be a part of our family and share our daily life at our home and sometime at our cottage. At our cottage is a traditional finnish sauna and a big lake with a sand beach. We can also show local places and attractions. We love the nature and being in it
