The experience

Experience the warmth and hospitality of a traditional Berber family while making a meaningful impact in the lives of two wonderful children in the heart of the Moroccan desert. We’re looking for kind, patient, and responsible volunteers to help care for Alladin and Hanah, the young children (a boy and a girl) , This is a unique opportunity to live with a local Berber family, learn about our culture, traditions, and daily life .

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Materials for volunteer activities and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers are kindly asked to contribute a small donation of 5 EUR per day to cover the cost of daily meals. This contribution helps us provide you with traditional, home-cooked Moroccan meals and ensures the sustainability of our program.

Program Details

This volunteer program is designed to support Alladin and Hanah, the children of a Berber family in Zagora, Morocco. The program's goal is to provide assistance with daily childcare, foster a cross-cultural exchange, and give volunteers the opportunity to experience and contribute to life in a traditional Moroccan Berber household.

Activities & Shift

1- Childcare: Assist with the children’s daily routines and activities.

2- Cultural Exchange: Share your language, traditions, and knowledge, while learning from the family’s Berber heritage.

3- Community Involvement: Participate in local activities, visit the nearby oases and markets, and engage with local life in the region.

Rules

You will be an integral part of the family, helping in child supervision, educational support, and offering emotional and cultural support to the children. You will not only help the children but also learn about the fascinating Berber culture.
