The experience
Join us at an off-grid luxury wilderness lodge in British Columbia and experience life surrounded by untouched nature🏔️
You’ll help with hosting guests and maintaining the lodge (around 25 hours per week) in exchange for shared accommodation, three meals a day, and access to our amenities.
During your free time, you can hike, kayak, fish, and stargaze under some of the clearest night skies in North America 🌌
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Our off-grid luxury lodge is located on the stunning shores of Chilko Lake, surrounded by nearly 5 million acres of pristine wilderness 🌿
Staff and volunteers support daily operations by helping with guest hosting, housekeeping, kitchen assistance, and general property upkeep (about 25 hours per week).
In return, you’ll enjoy shared accommodation, all meals included, and full access to lodge amenities. You’ll also have plenty of free time to enjoy unforgettable adventures such as bear watching, hiking, ATV rides, kayaking, and fishing in crystal-clear waters 🛶🐻
Activities & Shift
Staff and volunteers assist with a variety of rotating tasks, including:
• Housekeeping: cleaning cabins, laundry, and tidying common areas
• Hospitality: meal service, cocktail hour, and guest hosting
• Property maintenance: groundskeeping, light repairs, firewood, and vehicle or hot tub checks
There may also be opportunities to assist with guiding activities like hiking, kayaking, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
Tasks are rotated to keep the experience balanced, averaging around 25 hours per week, allowing everyone to enjoy variety while contributing to a seamless guest experience 🤝
Rules
Everyone is expected to help as part of a team and treat fellow staff, volunteers, guests, and the property with respect.
• Lodge equipment (trucks, ATVs, boats, kayaks) may only be used with prior permission, and guests always have priority.
• Shared spaces (kitchen, accommodation, bathrooms, lounge areas) must be kept clean and tidy.
• Alcohol is allowed in moderation during free time but must never affect work, safety, or the guest experience.
• Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
