I could not have asked for a better first volunteering experience! I am so grateful for the time spent working with such a welcoming, understanding, and fun team. The amount of work is reasonable and the shifts can be super exciting. I will hold onto my Onefam memories dearly for the rest of my life and remember all the amazing people I met along the way. I hope to visit Paralelo again one day soon 💖

It's been a week since I left my paralelo fam and all i can say is I'm still sad and trying to get my EU citizenship to move out there!! It was such an amazing experience & I'm so happy to have met every single person because they made my experience absolutely amazing. I made forever friendships and family with everyone there and I made so many core memories within my month of volunteering there. I would recommend working for onefam especially Paralelo to anyone & everyone because you will truly find a family and feel so comfortable and never want to leave! I miss it so much already :')

Hostel Onefam was amazing! If you have a high social battery and love to party this is the place for you! The jobs and hours are very easy, and my manager Isabella was great with accommodating time off when you need it. The best part by far are the other volunteers. I loved everyone I worked with and have made some great friendships:)

Onefam was my first voluntering experience and I absoluuuuutely loved it! You have a lot of variation in the tasks you do and still have free time to explore the city, have a beach day,... The name Onefam is not just a name, we really felt like a fam 💖 Onefam will forever have a place in my heart!

The Onefam chain truly values the guest's experience. It was great that each day and night had guest activities and that all OneFam locations in Barcelona did these activities together. Because of this I was able to meet volunteers from the other hostels who I had more in common with. Overall there is a social and welcoming atmosphere that I have never experienced at other hostels. The assigned tasks and schedules were very fair and Mattea takes your preferences into account. Unfortunately I had to leave super early due to a fam emergency but I highly recommend Onefam.

My Onefam experience is forever tattooed in my heart (and the pictures pinned to my wall). I met amazing people that remain close friends. I must say the environment is amazing, but you really should like to party hard and enjoy being with people all day long if you are planning on volunteering. The property was really nice, and the staff 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 could literally not be better. One big hug one fam❤️‍🩹

Literally my best volunteering experience and it was definitely one of the most grateful and perfect chapters of my life. I made so many friends, trained my Spanish, went to a damn a lot of parties, went out with the team, learned how to cook better and enjoyed one of the best cities in Europe. The work is literally so easy and you have a lot of time to explore the city and the nigh life. Onefam paralelo Will always have a place in my heart and I'm definitely coming back 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I had the time of my life working at Onefam Paralelo! Shout out to the best reception team (Eoin, Made and Bea) who always made sure the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The tasks were clear and agreed upon, allowing me to enjoy every moment of my experience. The accommodation is a 3min walk from the hostel which was really convenient. In only 4 weeks, I made a lot of new friends with whom I share amazing experiences that I'll never forget. So if you love partying and socialising, this is for you!
