Staying at this hostel was one of the best experiences ever. Staff was awesome, guest were great, volunteers were amazing. Everything was more that I was expecting, you are gonna meet people that will remain forever in your heart. Had the best time at the hostel Paralelo. Firstly the staff: Fran, Jo and Lucy were all absolute angels who were super accomodating and made me feel at home/supported. The work is incredibly straight forward and FUN and you are given lots of guidance and support in your training. Shifts are either a dinner/party shift, a morning activity shift or a night shift. Genuinely had the most incredible, fun time. The work didn't feel like work. I have met sooo many incredible people this last month at the hostel. If you are a social, outgoing, party-loving person this is the perfect position for you !!

This was truly a special experience for me. It felt really like a family since everyone is so welcoming and they genuinely care about how you feel. you get into so much conversation with all the staff and guests, therefore you get to make so good friendships with interesting people from all over the world. this experience is perfect for people who love to party, because there is party every night if you want to!! free entry in the coolest clubs of barcelona, very funny drinking games with the guests and the big dinner together every night. it just really feels like a home 🫶🏼

Working at the hostel, specifically the hostel ramblas was one of the best things, if not the best thing I've done in this past year. If I hadn't had more plans I would have extended my time here longer. This is the perfect place if you are looking to make fast friends, see the city, and want to go out clubbing as much as possible.

The hostel!!! What an experience!! It was amazing working with the hostel team, shout out to all of them!!! The working hour and the schedules are pretty respected, the tasks it selfs are not that difficult, just make really sure to be a party person if you choose this position! Most of it it's hyping the night out, anyways there is always someone helping out and making you feel comfortable even at the beginning. Thank you the hostel 🫶🏻🫶🏻

My experience at the hostel was not one to forget. i came as a guest and ended up staying as a volunteer for almost two months. the job was perfect for those who love to be social— party shifts, making guests feel welcome, and showing people how we do it in barcelona. most importantly, i found a family in my fellow volunteers. note that you will work a good amount— 30-35 hours a week

Experience of a lifetime! I have volunteered at hostels before but never at one like this.. WOW. I have brought several friends to join as volunteers and they all cant stop talking about how fun this has been and i cannot recommend it enough. Living in Barcelona and immersing myself in the Spanish culture and the biggest clubbing scene in the world was beyond memorable. I created some of my best friends of my life and a million contacts to reach out to across the world. the hostel will always be part of my life and Rambabes (Ramblas) will always be in my heart - Cant wait to return!

During my time at the hostel Ramblas I truly felt like I developed as a human. The team honestly became some of my best friends I've made while traveling, the management was truly accommodating to all our needs and I felt welcome immediately. One of the best things about this position was the proximity and interactions we had with all the other hostels involved with the hostel in Barcelona. It was a massive community that I instantly meshed with, I had enough time for personal work as well as enough good times during the days and evenings. My time in the hostel was wonderful. Brenda is an amazing manager who makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. Among the volunteers, there's a family-like atmosphere, and we always helped each other - whether it was cooking together or swapping shifts. I had such a great time, and I'll definitely be back!
