My experience at Pineapples was incredibly enriching. I was warmly welcomed by Elie and Dani, who are helpful, friendly, cheerful, and genuine people. I hope to return soon because it was one of the best volunteer experiences I've ever had. The work is very simple and can be done quickly. Dani does an excellent job organizing the work schedule, making sure we have plenty of free time. I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you very much for the experience ❤️

Eli and Daniela are two of the nicest people that you will ever meet. They look after the volunteers so well and treat you like family. This created a great vibe in the house and made all the volunteers feel valued and helped us have an amazing experience. The short shifts allowed plenty of time for surfing, cycling and spending time with the awesome volunteers and guests of the guest house. Would love to come back one day.

The guest house is the most incredible place to volunteer. Elie and Daniela are some of the most kind, welcoming and generous people I've met, they made my first volunteering experience an absolute pleasure. The work is easy and hours are perfect, you can spend every day doing other activities if you organise around your shift so there's plenty of time for surfing, exploring and socialising. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This was my first volunteer place with Worldpackers. The experience was worth it and I had a really great time! Eli and Daniela are very caring and supportive! I loved my time here and it felt like home. The work conditions were very fair and if we had questions or concerns or something else, you could always contact them and they found a solution. They really cared about our wellbeing. Would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely come back! 🫶🏻

I spent a month at the guest house and it was my first volunteer experience. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I got along very well with the other volunteers and the hosts, who were always available and kind to me. The hostel is located near Peniche and is an excellent area to learn to surf - if, like in my case, you are a beginner - or even just to unplug from real life and enjoy sunsets over the ocean with travellers from all over the world. The shifts were very simple and the amount of work was never too much, so that even those four hours could be spent as best as possible.

The time at the guest house was a bliss. The tasks where totally doable and 4 hours of work is very reasonable. Eli and Daniela were so nice and accommodating😊 The atmosphere and the vibes are really good. When of shift, the volunteers did excursions and surf trips together. It truly felt like a home and a family and I was so sad when my time was over☹ I will definitely come back. Either as a Volunteer o as a guest.

Volounteering at the guest house is the best thing that you can do for your life! Since the first time I felt like at home, Eli and Dani are two amazing women, whatever you need they're there to help you! The job is very easy and well organised, the house is wonderful and the guests are always super chill and funny, you can have the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people! The house is also 5 minutes from the beach, so you can't miss a single sunset! Peniche is a wonderful little city and the nature is incomparable. I really had great time at the guest house, I will never forget it <3

My experience at Pinapple was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of that is thanks to the incredibles hosts Eli & Dani who made me feel truly welcome and valued from the moment I arrived. Whether it was through their thoughtful gestures, kind words, or the time they took to get to know me, I always felt like they were my family. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care left a lasting impression on me, making this one of the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had. I would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking to enjoy while being supported by incredible human beings

I had a wonderful and unforgettable first volunteering experience at this hostel. I felt at home from the very first moment, and I met amazing people including Eli and Daniela (the owners) who were always kind and helpful. The work was easy and the working hours were flexible. I couldn't have asked for anything better and I wish everyone could have an experience like this.

This has been a truly special experience for me! Working as a part of the guest house team has made my experience in Portugal an unforgettable experience. loved the home like atmosphere of the hostel and how I got to make lifelong friends from all over the world. The hours are really reasonable and there is lots of flexibility to swap. The hosts Daniela and Elie were absolutely incredible! Absolutely went above and beyond for me when I injured my hand. I cannot recommend the guest house hostel enough!!
