The experience

We look for a house sitter to take care of the property in Hungary during the winter. In general there is not much to do exept to feed the horses and geese on a daily base (off days there is someone in place).
A daily visual check on the property if everything is order is also expected.
The time to fulfill these tasks takes a bout 1-2 hours per day. So, this is an ideal position for somewone who is working or studying remote.

What you offer

10 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 5 Per day

Description: Volounteers have to pay a daily fee per person proportionally for: - You are a traveller und therefore you have to pay the mandatory tourist tax - For the consumption of utilities like gas, electricity, waste deposit - Laundry machine and dryer - Transport to/from bus station (as next public transport is in 5 km distance)

Program Details

Discover living in restored historic buildings from the time where settlement took place with farming and housing, which were built only from natural materials sourced in the region. Now the buildings are equpped with state of the art. So, you do not have to miss out on comfort.

But keep in mind, the property is situated to a secluded spot about 7 km's distance to the next village.
Sandy dirt roads connect the farms which are located in about 1 km apart.
There is no amusement or bar closer then 3 km's walking distance!
So, this place is good for a person seeking to be in nature sourrounded by animals.

If your citizenship is from outside of the EU, you need to hold a valid Visa for the EU during your stay.

Rules

- Alcoholics and drug addicts are not permitted to apply.
- Smoking is not permitted in the buildings.
- A minimum stay of 8 weeks is required.
- You can use the washing machine and tumble dryer.
- You can use the kitchen for cooking.
- Your personal accommodation must always be kept clean.
- The communal areas must always be kept clean and tidy.
- Pick-up from the bus stop on arrival
- You can use a bicycle
- Shopping is delivered once a week (shopping costs not included)
- Advanced riders have the possibility to ride.
- Leisure activities: Board games, skittles, archery, nature walks
