Program Details

Travel to the heart of nature and be part of the first steps of a project with social impact!

We are in the testing and development phase of our permaculture garden. All the work you will do here—caring for the land, the garden, and the animals—is essential to help us refine techniques, increase production, and validate a model that, in the future, will feed people in need. Your contribution will be the seed of something much greater!

Our Space and The Mission:
We are a farm focused on sustainability, currently transforming into a food production hub for a social project. We are located just 40 minutes from the city center and 7 minutes from the Municipal Park. A fair warning: we are in a rural area, a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, and the access is via a dirt road, which makes the experience more authentic and adventurous!

Activities & Shift

We are looking for proactive volunteers who love nature to help us for approximately 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The main tasks are:

👩‍🌾 Land Care: Maintaining the permaculture garden, watering plants, and helping with small gardening projects.

🐕 Animal Care: Feeding and giving attention to our dogs.

🧹 Maintenance and Cleaning: Helping with the cleaning of common areas and organizing spaces.

And, if you are interested and feel like it, we would love your help with:

👨‍🍳 Cooking: Occasionally helping us prepare delicious and simple meals.

📸 Photography: If you enjoy taking pictures, your help capturing the beauty of our space and activities would be amazing for our social media.

Rules

Hello, future volunteer! As we're new to hosting travelers through Worldpackers, we want to make everything very clear so your experience here is amazing from day one. We ask that you read and respect our house rules:

💼 About Work & Commitment:

Schedule: Our work schedule is approximately 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. We value punctuality and keeping to our agreements.

Communication: If you get sick, have an unexpected issue, or don't understand a task, please talk to us! Open communication is the key to a successful exchange.

Tools: After use, please clean and store all tools and equipment in their correct place.

🏡 About Coexistence & Mutual Respect:

Peaceful Environment: We strive to maintain a light and respectful atmosphere. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying.

Quiet Hours: To ensure everyone's rest, we ask for quiet between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Visitors: For the safety and logistics of the homestead, it is not permitted to bring visitors (friends or family) without our prior authorization and arrangement.

Substances: The consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. The use of alcohol is allowed only in moderation and never during work hours.

🧹 About Cleaning & Organization:

Shared Spaces: The kitchen, bathroom, and common areas must be left clean after use. We follow the rule: "everyone washes their own dishes."

Safety is a Priority: We are in a rural area. Avoid walking alone at night. The dirt road and the forest require caution – wear closed-toe shoes appropriate for work.

WhatsApp: We use a WhatsApp group for coordinating daily tasks and announcements. It is our official communication tool.
