This experience was incredible. At first I found it difficult as not many people spoke English but I tried my best to engage and after a day or 2 made so many friends. I made sure I included myself and learnt Spanish from other volunteers. Hours were respected and agreed in advance. I was gardening and they were very conscious about the heat so I started at 8am instead of 9.30am which was great as I had so much of my day to relax in the pool and walk around the local area. I made amazing memories here. Jesus is an amazing leader and so relaxed. He doesn't micro manage, I felt very trusted

An amazing experience for those who are looking for a place to fill peace and also learn about Buddhism. I really liked my two weeks there and seems like you really want to keep volunteering in all the centers and kadampa temples in the world!

I really enjoyed the stay at this place. The people were very kind and welcoming, the food provided by the centre was always very nice and heartwarming, the nature there was beautiful and refreshing. Nothing I complain about it. I recommend anyone come here. Muchas gracias a todos, nos vemos otra vez!

Great experience! It's a great experience to calm your mind and learn a new way of living. There is no meat allowed inside but there's a restaurant in walking distance for when you have cravings. The work is a bit labor intensive at times but I would say if you take your time and appreciate the little things, you will have a great time. There are some wonderful people to get to know and beautiful breathing landscape to explore!

It was hard to plan anything cause no one told me beforehand about my working hours. Only in the morning of the working day. I didn't feel support from some of the administration. For example, when I broke my phone they assumed I didn't want to work when I asked to move my hours a bit. Apart from the negative experience that k mentioned above, it was okay. The food and accommodation were amazing. Residents, most people working there, volunteers were truly positive and giving. I wouldn't recommend this for the first-time volunteering, but if you are interested in Buddhism it's good opportunity

Kadampa es un lugar lleno de bendiciones con una energía muy especial , es un lugar extraordinario para conectar con naturaleza, estar en introspección y las enseñanzas del budismo para los que están iniciando y lo que ya tiene un camino avanzado , conectas con personas de todas latitudes del mundo , es un aprendizaje hermoso para los que están en la misma frecuencia y resonancia de propósito de vida , es una comunidad que te hace sentir en casa , el templo es colosal , lleno paz , donde indudablemente kadampa será mi lugar favorito que siempre querrás volver ..

El centro es un lugar donde se puede respirar paz, orden, instalaciones impecables Respeto y cumplimiento de las tareas y horas pautadas Tener en cuenta que las actividades están diagramadas a lo largo del día, con los descansos correspondientes para terminar las tardes dependiendo del diagrama por la tarde o noche Las actividades como meditaciones que ofrecen se pueden tomar con facilidad ya que existe la flexibilidad en cada pedido. Muchas gracias a Marta y Yurlen por la amabilidad y respeto con que coordinan cada tarea!

Fue mi primera experiencia voluntariando y siento que no podia haber elegido mejor! Un lugar lleno de paz, gente amable y rodeado de naturaleza. Las tareas son faciles y llevaderas, y las comidas realmente increibles! Levantarte y sentir tranquilidad, es impagable! Gracias por esta experiencia.
