Winter Custodian needed for a cozy hostel with a large garden. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, light maintenance, caring for indoor and outdoor plants, keeping place ventilated, and ensuring common areas stay warm and welcoming. Ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and who enjoys nature and hospitality while being higly independent.
Insturctions will be provided remotely.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Tasks include daily cleaning of common areas and bathrooms.
Taking care of security of doors and windows at night and during storms.
Depending on the month extra tasks can vary from gardening to painting and preparing rooms.

Activities & Shift

The shift can be organized varing on the number of volunteers.
Priority goes to keeping the hostel clean and neat, extra tasks can be tailored with the interest of participants.

Rules

We expect the person applying to be highly selfsufficient and reliable.
To respect the people involved in the project and the direction of the program.
