Volunteer and teach Music in a Community Rural School
The experience
Join the Friends of Children in Gomba FCG volunteer placement for a transformative experience in the heart of Gomba - Uganda. Work with disadvantaged children in a community school, arousing their creativity through teaching music, dance, and creative arts.
Music promotes a lot of talent to the children and is one of the skills that can make a child to be self - reliant. We would like our children to be exposed to equipment like paying guitars.

Program Details
A volunteer can work three hours a day in promoting music or art and crafts, painting and so forth. Volunteers who have skills of playing music instruments like the guitar, music piano and other music instruments are highly welcome. Though we are still lacking those music instruments at school, we have hope that one day our children will play those music instruments.
Volunteers who can help disadvantaged children get those music instruments are highly welcome. But that is optional, even if you can train the voices you are welcome to our community school.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will work for three hours a day but we are flexible and can adjust any time when the need arises.
