The experience

We’re looking for a creative volunteer to help us document and share the essence of our retreat through photos and short videos. Your work will help us grow our online presence and connect with travellers who value authenticity and sustainability. We’d love your help to share the beauty of our eco-retreat overlooking the Victoria Reservoir. If you love creativity, nature, and meaningful connections, you’ll feel right at home.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Between 21 and 60 years old

Program Details

We are a peaceful agroforestry and nature retreat overlooking the stunning Victoria Reservoir in Sri Lanka. Once an old coffee bungalow, it’s now a living forest where nature, culture, and calm meet. Volunteers help us share our story through photography, storytelling, and digital creativity, while enjoying simple forest life, local food, and connection with nature.

We love sharing the best of the area, here’s what you can enjoy on your free days:

-Knuckles Mountain Trek – UNESCO sanctuary with waterfalls, misty peaks & rare flora.
-Bambaragala Rajamaha Viharaya – Historic temple with stunning reservoir views.
-Golf at Victoria – 18-hole course overlooking scenic Victoria Reservoir.
-Discover Kandy – Temples, colonial landmarks, cultural shows & royal gardens.
-Village Experience – Dumbara Valley – Traditional crafts, rural life & hidden waterfalls.
-Kandy Esala Perahera (Seasonal) – Majestic procession with elephants, dancers & drummers.


Activities & Shift

Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook)

Photograph and document our daily life

Write stories, captions, and blog posts about retreats, nature, and forest experiences

Engage with the online community and respond to messages

Assist with basic video editing and visual content creation

4 hrs a day
