Lifestyle block helper in Whangarei, New Zealand

The experience

Hi there were a family of 4 plus AuPair looking for some help to get on top of our lifestyle block maintenance. Everything from fencing, weeding, spraying, painting. We have a few fence lines that need clearing from an earlier storm and wood that needs to be sorted. We offer good food and a caravan for your accomodation.
Must be fit and willing to get your hands dirty. Kid & animal friendly a must. We have lots!! Own transport needed.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside New Zealand

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

20 hours split over 5 days or work longer hours and work 4 days.
